Jesus says in the Beatitudes, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” This is the goal of our new parish ministry. The St. Paul Grief Support Ministry seeks to comfort those who have lost a loved one and is open to everyone no matter their stage of grief. The ministry will meet on the second Tuesday of each month in the Narthex of the church starting at 5:30 PM. The first gathering will be Tuesday, September 14. While it may only be August, we are looking ahead to activities happening this fall. One of those is Outdoor Mass followed by Trunk or Treat set for Friday, October 29. A committee is being formed to coordinate the activities. Anyone interested is invited to attend an organizational meeting Tuesday, August 31 at 6:00 PM in the school cafeteria. If you are interested but unable to attend the meeting, please call the Parish Office (765-664-6345) to volunteer.
We are accepting item donations for the auction. Ideas include things for the seasons, gift certificates for experiences, sports equipment, getaways and themed baskets. Items may be brought to the school office between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
