St. Paul Catholic Parish and the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana annually award scholarships to those pursuing a college education. Deadlines vary but some are due as early as April 15, 2020.
COVID-19 continues to be an ongoing health concern in our community and across the country. Bishop Doherty is granting dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass until further notice, but regularly scheduled Masses will go on. This is not a permanent dispensation and we will provide updates as the situation evolves. At this time, all parish activities, excluding Mass and Reconciliation, are suspended until further notice. Please follow the link for more specific information regarding changing relative to our response to the COVID-19 situation.
After consulting with the diocese and monitoring the news from Governor Holcomb and our local public school systems about the COVID-19/Coronavirus and its impact to our community, we will be suspending in-person classes next week and the week after Spring Break and we will have e-learning days instead. We are continuing to monitor the situation, but at this time the plan is that we will return to regular classes on Monday, April 6. This decision is not made lightly and the health and safety of our students, staff, families, and community is our primary concern.
Next Sunday we open up the rectory/parish office to say thank you for all of your help with improvements over the past year. Some parishioners indicated to me that the carpeting dated back to the pastorate of Fr. Kline (1990s)..
