St. Paul Catholic School is hosting an Open House on Sunday, March 15, 2020, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. At 2:00 p.m., parents and guardians can learn how to afford a Catholic education. Effectively immediately at Masses at Saint Paul and Holy Family, we will be suspending the common cup for the Precious Blood and the congregational sharing of the sign of peace. These steps are precautions taken in light of the spread of the Coronavirus.  Many parishes in the Diocese of have taken similar precautions. Please keep in mind the recommendations that the Centers for Disease Control have published: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention-treatment.html.

We continue with the second commandment today, "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord Thy God in vain."  This commandment forbids empty uses of the divine name. An empty use of God's holy name may take place in one of several ways...
