The Incarnation: The belief that God has become a man is the critical fact that distinguishes Christianity from other religions in the world. With the doctrine of the incarnation, the possibility of change is ushered into the world in a whole new way. The old order of creation has no need to be destroyed or swept away – it can now be redeemed!..(Versión en español disponible al final del inglés.)

We have little experience with monarchy as Americans. Although we might be fascinated with some of the remaining European royal families, there is no constitutional tolerance for the legitimate authority of kingship in our Republic. We value the rights of every individual to pursue happiness in a manner that is not coerced or forced by any external agent...
Each year our parish community attending Mass on Thanksgiving Day has donated non-perishable food items for St. Martin Center. This year we would like to extend that donation opportunity. You will find donation boxes in the Narthex now through next Sunday where you can bring in your donations. Let us share our blessings by giving to others.
Every child learn differently. Many families want the opportunity to provide their children with a faith-based education. St. Paul Catholic School is an option for them but only with tuition assistance. This year our school is looking to provide over $100,000 in assistance through two options - Indiana Tax Credit Scholarships (SGO) and our Parish Scholarships. Your support of these is vital. SGO contributions for scholarships provide donors with a 50% state tax credit and an eligible federal deduction. Contributions to our local scholarship fund are also tax deductible. Donations made to the Trees of Hope - In Memory of Father Christopher, happening November 29 through December 3, will also help in these scholarship efforts. For information on these options to help students “Grow in Faith”, contact the school office.
Our parish church building is important because it is where we gather to hear the word of God, to pray and to be sent out to do Christian work. So, let us prepare ourselves and our church for the season of Advent. Bring your ability to climb ladders, your strength to carry stuff, your patience to clean after others and let’s hang the greens! NOTE: Due to a funeral, the time has been changed to 2:00 PM.

Wow! This is the word I keep repeating whenever I recall the October 30 outdoor Mass and trunk-or-treat event. What a testimony to our parish family and to our local community.
