Weekend Update- September 22, 2023
 

-Sunday, September 24- Youth Group will meet at 6:30pm in McCarthy Hall. We hope to see all the 8th-12th graders there for food & faith. If anyone has a local business that would like to host our youth group on Sunday evenings, please call the parish office.

-There are a limited number of tickets available for the auction. It will be a fun night out that benefits our students. We are encouraging everyone to dress for the occasion. Best dressed male and female will win a pull for bourbon and wine! That’s right! We are having a bourbon pull and a wine pull this year!

-We are still accepting donations of bourbon and wine. The more bottles we have, the more variety there will be to win!
-RCIA Sponsors Needed!  Those who are interested in being in full communion with the Catholic Church need fellow parishioners who will "walk alongside" them on their path during the preparation process.  Many times, our new seekers are responding to God's call, but don't know anyone at all in the parish.  A sponsor is over 16 years old, male or female, and a fully practicing Catholic.  No knowledge is required, just availability to be a friend to the seeker and is present for celebration of the Rites.  To learn more about this important role, please call Anita Rawlings at 668-1182.

*All volunteers for the weekend ministry, please arrive to the church at least 15 minutes before the start of Mass to ensure you are prayerfully ready to fulfill your duties.

-Domingo 24 de septiembre- El grupo de jóvenes se reunirá a las 6:30 p.m. en McCarthy Hall. Esperamos ver a todos los estudiantes de 8º a 12º grado allí para recibir comida y fe. Si alguien tiene un negocio local que quisiera albergar a nuestro grupo de jóvenes los domingos por la noche, llame a la oficina parroquial.
-Hay un número limitado de entradas disponibles para la subasta. Será una noche divertida que beneficiará a nuestros estudiantes. Animamos a todos a vestirse para la ocasión. ¡El hombre y la mujer mejor vestidos ganarán un premio para el bourbon y el vino! ¡Así es! ¡Este año tendremos una sesión de bourbon y otra de vino!

-¡Se necesitan patrocinadores de RICA! Aquellos que estén interesados en estar en plena comunión con la Iglesia Católica necesitan compañeros feligreses que "caminen junto a ellos" en su camino durante el proceso de preparación. Muchas veces, las personas responden al llamado de Dios, pero no conocen a nadie en la parroquia. Un padrino debe ser mayor de 16 años, hombre o mujer, y ser católico plenamente practicante. No se requiere ningún conocimiento, sólo disponibilidad para ser amigo del buscador y estar presente en la celebración de los Ritos. Ministerio de fin de semana:
*Todos los voluntarios para el ministerio de fin de semana, por favor lleguen a la iglesia al menos 15 minutos antes del comienzo de la Misa para asegurarse de que están listos para cumplir con sus deberes en oración.
