We are less than one week away from the 2020 school auction! This annual event makes a difference for the more than 100 students at St. Paul Catholic School. Tuition assistance helps 90% of our students. Tablets and laptops are now available for ALL students, from preschool up, allowing one to one learning. Safety of our students and staff has been improved including secured entrances and video monitoring systems.
Items open for bidding tomorrow, Monday, August 24. Here is how you can look at, bid on and win items available in this year’s auction!
1.On your computer, tablet or smartphone, visit www.bidpal.net/stpaul20. You can also text stpaul20 to 243725 on your smartphone to receive a link.
2.If you have not previously done so, register. If you have bid at a past auction, you may use your same email and password from last year. TIP #1: Include your credit card information for quick and easy checkout when the auction ends.
3.Create a watch list to help you find the items you would like to track. TIP #2: Visit the auction site often as new things will be added.
4.Start bidding on items this week.TIP #3: Set a maximum bid on items you are interested in so that the system will auto bid for you should you be outbid.
5.Tune in to the live-stream program on Saturday, August 29 starting at 6:30 PM. You can watch using our website, Facebook page or YouTube channel. TIP #4: A few select items will only be open for bidding during this program.
6.When the auction ends, use the checkout now option to claim the items you have won.
7.Use our drive-thru, curbside service on Monday, August 31 between 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM to pick up your items!TIP #5: Enter using the east grounds entrance near the school gymnasium. Pull through between McCarthy Hall and the back entrance to the school building. You will not even have to get out of the car!
Not only can you bid on items, you can make a donation to either Father Christopher or our school principal, Mrs. Weimer. They have challenged one another to see who can raise the most money by August 29 to help our students. The winner will get to put a pie in the face of the other person at the end of our live-stream program!
Raffle tickets are still available. They must be purchased by the start of the live-stream program or before all 250 are sold—whichever happens first. If you need a ticket, contact the school office today. The raffle drawing will take place during the live-stream program. Don’t miss your chance to win!
Did you order a meal for the night of the auction? Those who are picking up their order should enter the parish grounds using the drive east of the school gymnasium and pull through between the school and McCarthy Hall. Curbside service will be used to place your meal in your vehicle. Pick up is available from 4:30 PM until 6:00 PM on August 29. Those who opted for delivery should expect delivery during the same time.
