Weekly Update- Oct 31st, 2024

* All Saints Masses are at 6PM Vigil on Thursday, Oct. 31^st, 8:30AM (All school) Mass on Friday, Nov. 1^st and 6PM Spanish Mass, also on Friday.

* We will have a special collection after Mass today for St. Martin Community Center.

*There will also be Anointing of the Sick after Mass today.

* We have a new Bible study covering the birth stories of Jesus in Matthew and Luke. The study will be held Tuesday evening, November 19th from 6:30pm - 8:00pm in McCarthy Hall and will be led by Deacon Bob.

* We are looking for Sacristans. This behind-the-scenes job is responsible for preparing the Altar and worship space prior to the beginning of Mass and cleaning up vessels after Mass. Training will be provided. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, contact the parish office or Karen Browder or Christine Ravenscroft.

*Would you like to join our small team of parishioners who serve Communion to our homebound parishioners? We are currently in need of a couple of new members. Please, contact the parish office at (765) 664-6345 or Edna Crawford for more information.

* We all have a responsibility to evangelize, and thanks to the gift of the Holy Spirit, we are well-equipped for this mission! “Walk With One” is the primary ask from our bishops for the Year of Mission.

* Step 2 is Intercede – Intercede for your person in communion with the Holy Spirit.

Intercede for your person in communion with the Holy Spirit: Pray for the grace to be able to accompany the person whom the Lord has laid on your heart. Commit to pray for them for a specific period of time, asking God to open the opportunity for a conversation. Pray for any struggles the person might be facing with brokenness or sin, and for any obstacles that might impede this person from drawing closer to Jesus and exploring the Catholic faith more deeply. Consider offering a Holy Hour or a Novena of prayer for that person.
