Each year volunteers, supporters and staff host an auction at St. Paul Catholic School. Proceeds from this treasured night help fund school needs. We are excited to return to an in-person event this year! Using an Oktoberfest theme, we have made some changes to allow for more space to socialize, reduce the amount of time guests are seated at one time and step up the level of fun.
As has been true the last few years, bidding for silent auction items will be done online. We will also offer Super Silent Items which are available for a shorter period of time. We've added Feierabend, a new "happy hour" option for guests to opt to start their evening early. T-shirts will be available for purchase whether you attend the event or not. So don't miss your chance to show your Oktoberfest spirit!
Plans are being made to provide as safe of an environment as we can during this time. A new program format that includes live auction items will be utilized. Cleaning will be done during the event. Hand sanitizer will be available. Face coverings are recommended but optional. Other provisions will be made as appropriate.
This year's auction is sure to be barrels of fun and provide many opportunities for you to make a difference for the students at St. Paul Catholic School!
1. Purchase a raffle ticket.
Stop by the school office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m, mail or place payment in the offertory indicating "St. Paul Auction" or purchase a ticket from a raffle ticket seller. Watch the drawing live on our Facebook page at approximately 8:30 p.m. on October 9.
2. Enjoy the auction with friends.
Attend the auction in-person on Saturday, October 9. With added space, there is now over 13,.000 square feet for you to socialize throughout the evening. Reservation deadline is September 24.
3. Reserve your Feierabend spot.
What is Feierabend? It is “the evening celebration”, a time to celebrate after you finish your work. We may think of it like Happy Hour! For an additional $25 per person you can start celebrating the evening 90 minutes prior to the official opening. Enjoy appetizers, bid on special auction items and receive a commemorative mug to fill while the “bier” lasts. Reservation deadline is September 24.
4. Bid on auction items or make a donation.
Visit our mobile/online bidding website at www.bidpal.net/stpaulauction or easily register by texting stpaulauction to 243725. Once there, you can place a bid, set a maximum bid and make a monetary donation. Silent bidding opens Monday, October 4. Live items are only available for bidding at the in-person event.
5. Pick up the items you win.
Winning bidders who attend the event should pick up their items at the end of the evening. Those not in attendance or who need to make arrangements for pick up should plan to pick up their items on Sunday, October 10, between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the school gymnasium.
